I enjoyed seeing all my clients and friends photos on facebook. It’s crazy to see my past newborn clients all grown up and going trick-or-treating. They grow up too fast!

She was super tiny weighing around 6 lbs. and so, so cute! Her mom brought THE cutest little ruffle romper! I’m pretty sure I need to get one for future newborn shoots!

Six weeks is a tough age to photograph. They tend to not go into as deep of a sleep as newborns but they still act newborn-ish. :) But, Isla was a pleasant surprise!

When I got to their home, Jennifer (Isla’s mommy) had her asleep and ready to go. She stayed asleep long enough to get some great shots with tons of smiles! Once she woke up, she decided to stay up! We headed outside for a few more shots and Isla loved it! She did not cry at all once we put her in a bucket in natural air. :)

No joke! It’s like they all got together and decided to have baby #2 at the same time even though they don’t know each other. :) I love seeing all the newborns I shot a few years ago becoming big sisters and brothers!

Meet Cora, little sis of Audrey. I first met Audrey, Reba and Matt when Audrey was only 5 weeks old. It was so crazy seeing her hold her new little sister! How can they grow up so quickly?!? Cora is like Audrey’s mini me. When I first saw her she looked just like Audrey! Both were born with a gorgeous full set of hair and big bright eyes!

I was excited that Reba and Matt were up for shooting at my loft. I’m starting to get a studio set up and I love all of the natural light I get. It worked out well and I can’t wait to use the loft again! Here are some favorites…

He belongs to my good friends, Natalie and Chris. If you remember their maternity session, Natalie had been on bed rest since week 25! Well, Aiden decided to make an unexpected arrival about a week before his scheduled c-section… just in time to be home for Mother’s Day!

Aiden is such a sweetie! As fun and easy as his shoot was (he slept the entire time), my favorite part was getting to hold and feed him. :) He is so tiny and precious! Little Aiden is truly a blessing and I’m so glad I got to capture some of his first days with his mommy and daddy!

This was the funniest thing… it’s like he is saying, “no more pictures please!”

This one is Natalie’s favorite and maybe mine too! Love his little smile!

When I was just about to leave Aiden was starting to wake up so I thought I could get a few shots with his eyes open. Instead, he flashed me a smile…

She was so sound asleep we were able to use lots of adorable hats, backgrounds and tutus. I had so much fun!

Between the knit hats I have and all the cute headbands Ava’s mommy has, there were many, many options. This one is a new one I got from Etsy. If you look closely, you can see her little dimple on her right cheek. So cute!

He’s already scooting himself around, not wanting to stay in his poses. Mom and dad are going to have their hands full as he gets older. =) Here are some of my favorites of little Duncan…

She is being adopted by an amazing family that I have known for awhile. Kyra is an awesome mom who has a love for all children. She has a heart of gold and would probably take in every child that needed a home if she could. =)

Addiysn is about 4 weeks old and as healthy as can be. She is receiving so much love from friends and family… especially from her brothers and sisters!

He wins the award for youngest newborn I’ve ever shot, beating out Cayden and Kaiden who were both 6 days old. He was so, so tiny… born a week late but he was still under seven pounds! When I arrived he was sound asleep and ready for his shoot! We did all of the shooting in his adorable nursery (that also happened to have great light). His mom did an awesome job painting the walls turquoise with adorable stencils above his crib and changing table. Welcome to the world, Jacob!
