2011 Holiday Mini Shoots

I’m so excited to announce this years holiday mini shoots on October 8th and 9th! October 8th will be at my favorite green spot in Irvine and the 9th will be at the Balboa Fun Zone. Both locations are awesome and you will be sure to get some great holiday photos! This year I am also offering exclusively designed holiday cards. The only place you will be able to get them is through Richelle Dante Photography! They are still in the works but check out the sneak peak below!

Please email me at richelle@richelledante.com, with the subject “mini shoots”, as soon as possible to book a slot. Make sure to include the time slot you would like and maybe a few other times that will work in case it is already taken. I have a feeling they will be going quickly!

Little sidenote: I had a few people interested in going to Oak Glen (apple country) for mini shoots. If this is something you would be interested in, please let me know and if I have enough interest, I will add another mini shoot day (probably in mid September).

Liam :: Two Years

Liam is a pretty normal two year old, not really want ing to sit and pose for photos. I’m so happy he wasn’t in the mood. I loved running after him, sitting in the dirt, watching him run downs hills and see who Liam really is. I love that when his mom and dad look back on these photos in 10 years they will remember the things he loved and who he was when he was two…

If you can think like a two year old, being able to take off your shoes has to be a pretty big deal.

Eyelashes to die for…

Picking the flowers, and running down hills… two things I found that Liam loved to do!

He also loves hanging out with mom and dad…

Crows and airplanes are quite interesting.

Swinging is the best!

Luke :: Irvine Baby Photography

Little Luke is 7 months old and full of smiles! I was excited to get to use my new little leather chair and Luke seemed to like it too! Here are a few favorites of adorable Luke!

This was one of the first shots I took. I new when he started with a smile, it would be a good shoot!

Presley :: 6 Months

Presley was full of smiles pretty much her entire shoot. It helped having mom singing the ABC song! I had so much fun with her shoot because there was soooo much color! Presley’s parents were pretty much up for anything including putting her in a race car tire her dad happened to have. Here are a few of my favorites!

Love her bright pink dress with the green! Her adorable smile helps too!

Love this one… she has a little of the Gerber Baby look going on.

Madeline :: On the Move in Laguna!

This past weekend on got to meet with 14 month old Madeline. Last time we did a shoot she was 8 months old and very close to walking. Well now, she is unstoppable! She loves to walk, and walk, and walk. We’re not talking a stroll here, she is on the move!

Madeline was very popular. Between her being totally adorable and her cute walk, she is quite a site to see!

Honestly, I have no idea how I got this shot. I think she was still for about 5 seconds, posed and then kept moving. =)

She was having so much fun exploring Laguna!

We headed to the beach for a few more shots before sunset. This was on the way down the stairs… I think I loved it more than the beach. =)

Am I too old to have jeans with hearts because I think these are completely adorable!

Rocking chair in the sand… why not!

Turns out sand will slow Madeline down. She wasn’t loving the sand between the toes…

Best solution to not loving the sand… a bucket and a book!

Savannah is One!

I got to meet with Savannah on her actual first birthday! Last time I saw her she was almost 6 months old. Wow, how much she has changed in 6 months! It’s so fun getting to see these little ones growing up and figuring out who they are. Savannah is a happy, social little girl who makes everyone around her smile. She is opinionated and likes things her way. She loves boys, the beach and chocolate. Seriously, any boy that would walk by… she would have to check out. It was super cute! Here are a few of my favorites from a day at the beach!

We’ll start with one from Savannah’s first shoot with me…

Of course Savannah had to have a cupcake! She LOVED it!

So much that she didn’t realize she was eating her skirt too. =)

Did I mention she got to have some cotton candy before the chocolate cupcake? Can we say sugar high! =)

This was Savannah’s first trip to the beach. When we first got there the lifeguards were running to the water and people were running out of the water. We could see a fin near the shore. Turns out there were some dolphins jumping in the waves! Eventually they swam back out but it was pretty cool to see, especially for the birthday girl!

She really loved the beach! Maybe a future surfer… she really loved the water too!

Kevin, Kim and Baby Sienna :: Fullerton Family Photography

Yesterday I met up with Kevin, Kim and Sienna for a family mini shoot. I first met little Sienna when she was only a few weeks old. She is now almost 4 months and so grown up. I still can’t get over how much babies change within a few months!

Cayden is Growing Up!

Remember little Cayden… the cutest baby in Las Vegas? I’m happy to say that Cayden, his mom and dad have moved back to California! I’m so excited to have my friend back in close driving distance! Funny thing, I haven’t seen Cayden since he was in Vegas because of my traveling and his ear infections. But now, I’m back, he’s feeling good and we got to do a fun shoot! I can’t believe he is already seven months old! He has changed so much and really has a personality of his own. His laugh… adorable, his smile… irresistible, and his baby talk… SO cute!

We headed out at my favorite time… right before sunset. The light is soft, warm and simply amazing! If you book a shoot with me and can work around nap times, work schedules or whatever else would get in the way for this time spot, it’s worth it!

Emily and Aaron love their little guy so much! I love seeing them as parents!

Cayden’s smiles were few during the shoot because he was really, REALLY interested in all that was around him. His mom and dad were dancing, singing, making animal noises but it wasn’t as interesting as those weeds. =)

Jackson Turns One!

I love that I got to meet Jackson and his parent’s, Jennifer and Clint, on his actual first birthday! We started at a park, where Jackson got to dig into his own giant cupcake and then we headed downtown. The cupcake eating was definitely the highlight of the shoot! He LOVED every bite of it!
