Christina and Leo :: Sneak Peek

With this week being so crazy I’m going to try to keep up with blogging the best I can, but no guarantees. =)

This Saturday, we actually experienced some kind of weather in California. It rained! I love it when it rains, except when it falls on one of my couple’s wedding day. We really lucked out and only had rain at the very end of taking their portraits. They had their ceremony at the gorgeous Fullerton Arboretum. This is the second wedding I have shot there and I love all of the beautiful scenery. It was a little tough getting around with all the mud, but Christina and Leo were troopers!

Cody & Sarah :: Fullerton Engagement Photography

When I met Cody and Sarah I was so excited to shoot their wedding but after their engagement shoot this weekend, I can’t wait! They are so adorably cute together… so in love! We had so much fun walking around laughing, talking and taking some photos. There was some gorgeous sunlight coming through the trees which made my job easy… well, that, and the so in love cute couple. =)

When I’m going through the images, if my roommate is around, I’ll show her a few. When she saw this one she said, “WOW! She’s gorgeous! I want her cheekbones!” I couldn’t agree more!

Ummm, yeah. They are too cute!

I just watched The Bachelor last night and I really think Jake should look at these photos to see what real love is! =) Sorry, still venting about it.

Some people have asked me how I get the “blur like that”. It’s with a 24mm tilt-shift lens. I fell in love with it on my trip to Thailand and Cambodia and I’m loving it more with every shoot! Seriously, the sun was shining so perfectly in this moment!

As we were leaving Sarah saw this spot and wanted to take a few more. I’m so glad we stopped because the light was gorgeous!

We headed downtown for a few more…

Sofia :: First Communion and More!

Today I was so excited to meet up with my cousin Lisa and her daughter Sofia! I was also super excited to see bits of fall in California. There are a few colorful leaves… you just have to search for them.

Sofia has always loved the camera which makes it very easy and fun to shoot her. She started in her first communion dress and then we did some fun shots in the cutest corduroys I’ve ever seen! We had lots of fun throwing leaves, hanging from tree branches and hopping into flower beds. A few of my favorites…

This was the most gorgeous spot… the light was amazing!

I’m not bias at all but she has to be one of the cutest kids I know
