I was really looking forward to Lindsey and Jason’s wedding for many reasons. Mainly because they are such a sweet couple and their engagement session was so fun. From the time Lindsey and Jason booked with me until their wedding day I got to know them as a couple, especially since they did an engagement shoot. So when the wedding day came, it was not just “another day at work” for me… It’s truly exciting to be a part of their day and see them become husband and wife. It’s like I had a VIP pass to their wedding day.
I got to see the sweetness between them right after the ceremony and capture the quiet moments together during the first look and before the reception starts. One thing I loved about their wedding was that you could feel the love of their friends and family. I don’t know what it was but it was so evident that their friends and family truly cherish them. I left their wedding with a smile on my face, as did everyone else at their wedding. It was a perfect day!
The other reason I was looking forward to their wedding was because of the weather.
The last wedding I shot at the Muchenthaler Mansion, which happened to be my brother’s, it rained. We still got some amazing photos but we were limited as to where we could shoot. For Lindsey and Jason’s wedding, we used all the pretty areas of the venue and had pretty light!
Best bubble exit ever! The best part was that even after Jason and Lindsey had left, everyone was still blowing bubbles. ![]()
