I’ve always wanted to do a newborn twin session and I finally had the chance! Karson and Kinley were about a week old when they came to the loft. It was definitely a challenge to get them both sleeping at the same time but we were lucky enough to get a few minutes here and there. 
By the end of the shoot we were all ready for a nap but looking at the results, it was worth it!
If one was awake, usually the other was sleeping so I took advatage of the time and took some of them alone. Kinley was definitely more sleepy than Karson and even when he was sleeping, he didn’t want to stay still.
Love the little turtle outfits they brought!
These next three were probably all taken within 5 minutes. So glad we got some of them sleepy and together!

Love the family shots. Can you tell which twin looks like which parent?
This was at the very end but I had to include it so you can get a feel of what most of the shoot was like. Although I usually post peaceful sleepy photos, a lot of the time is spent feeding and getting the little ones to fall asleep… or at least calm down. I think shots like this give a more accurate view of what it might be like to be the parents of twins!
