Alana & Wesley :: Wilshire Ebell Theatre Wedding

One thing I love about photography is the awesome friends I’ve met. I met Amy (Amy Stone Photography) last year through another photographer friend and I’m so glad we were introduced. She is a super sweet, super talented photographer and it’s always fun shooting weddings with her! In November, I had the pleasure of shooting Alana and Wesley’s Ebell Theatre wedding with Amy. Alana and Wesley’s first look was one of my favorites from last year. They are so in love and it is so easy to capture! Scroll down and you’ll see what I’m talking about. :)

Love the house the girls got ready at! So much Jonathan Adler it made me slightly jealous. :)

Best first look ever…

My Favorite…

The Ebell has a lot of history to it and a bunch of movies have been filmed there.

In this room the ping pong scenes from Forest Gump and hospital scenes from Benjamin Button were filmed. Also, the “best twirling bride shot ever” was taken here. Just waiting for them to add it to their website. :)

Future twirling bride in training…

There were so many emotions during the ceremony…

Gorgeous room!

Alana wanted a classic old Hollywood feel for the decor. I think she did well!

Yummm, that’s all I have to say.

Every wedding should have a cotton candy cart… for reals.

When Amy and I were heading out we had some fun with long exposures. The Ebell turned out looking kind of spooky. The street lights put a green tint on the building and with the lights inside it reminds me of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland!
