Shooting film is fun, challenging and exciting. I love having to wait to see the results. There is so much instant gratification now that sometimes the excitement and anticipation of waiting to get prints is welcomed. I love how when I shoot film I still look at the back of the camera thinking I’m going to see the results. I love that I have to think more about the composition and lighting because I can only take 24 shots on one role of film. It’s fun that even though I never got to meet my grandfather, I can use his camera and capture beautiful images. I think he would be happy that his camera is still being used.
I shot some film of a beautiful wedding at The Ace Hotel with AbiQ Photography but I can’t quite share those yet. For now, I’ll leave you with a few taken in my house (and one in Palm Springs)…

The camera I’m shooting with it manual focus. Sometimes they come out blurry…
