I remember driving out to Vegas one year ago so excited to meet one of my best friend’s new little boy. He was 7 days old, so sweet and so tiny. It was amazing to see my friends as parents. To see them working together to raise their little boy. A year has flown by! Cayden has turned into such a little man. He’s walking, talking (in his own way) and loving Yo Gabba Gabba! When I saw the handmade invitation, I knew Emily was going to make his first birthday party special!
I was excited to go to the party for a few reasons. First, I had not seen Emily or Cayden since he was 8 months old and now that they live in Southern California that seems like way too long. He has changed so much in those 4 months (and I missed Emily!). Second, I got to enjoy the party and wasn’t on official photographer duty. Of course I had my camera and had to shoot some but it was fun to just hang out.
I don’t know how many hours Emily spent on the details but they were amazing! All of the cupcakes were made by Emily, her mom and sister.
I have to share one of Cayden at 7 days. So tiny!
