I knew I would be a good fit for Christina and Leo when Christina told me she wanted to do her engagement shoot somewhere with old doors. =) The first place I could think of was San Juan Capistrano. So, we headed to the mission first and then around the city.
I’m so in love with these photos! I love when I do a shoot and you really can’t tell it’s Orange County. The mission has such a unique look for CA and it makes me feel like I’m in Europe. Besides the location, Christina and Leo are so adorably cute with each other it made it perfect.
This is one of my favorite spots at the mission and with overcast skies, we had the freedom to shoot anywhere! As much as I love back lighting (which requires sun), sometimes an overcast day can work really well too!

Christina looks gorgeous! She had her hair and make-up done… it makes such a difference. I highly recommend it for all shoots!
