This past week has been crazy preparing to move and preparing for my best friend, Heather’s, wedding! The move happens today, the wedding was on Saturday.
I have to say, it was strange being on the other side. I was the maid of honor and my only responsibility was to make sure the bride was happy. I didn’t have to shoot anything. To be honest, I probably would have been stressing if I didn’t think Heather had a good photographer. Fortunately, she did! She hired Kevin McIntyre and he did an awesome job! As soon as he got there I could tell he was going to do a great job and I didn’t have to worry. We actually teamed up against the bride to convince her that taking her dress outside for a dress shot was a good idea. =) I can’t wait to see the results!
I did have my camera and snuck in a few shots here and there. They are mainly for me to have but I thought I would share a few on the blog…
Heather was texting back and forth with Mike ALOT before the ceremony. =)

Although the bridesmaids wore the same dresses, we had complete freedom with shoes and hair. I think all of our different personalities really show with our shoe choices!

Heather’s make-up looked beautiful!

This chair was in the bridal room along with her shoes, flowers and my camera. How could I not take a few detail shots!

A really bad attempt at a self portrait in the mirror. lol

A better shot taken by one of the bridesmaids.

Stunning!

Adorable flower girls!

I gave my camera to my mom during the ceremony. She did a pretty good job!!
I only slipped on the rose petals three time walking down the aisle. Luckily the best man, Ryan was able to keep me on my feet!

Beautiful bride and proud father!

Yep, they had a bag piper escort them out of the ceremony. That’s how my friends roll. =)

I couldn’t resist taking a few detail shots at the reception. Love my party favor!!

The wedding was at Pala Mesa Golf Resort in Fallbrook. Seriously a gorgeous place!

The happy bride and groom!

Heather and Mike, I’m so happy for you guys! Your wedding was gorgeous and you are truly meant for each other. I wish you a lifetime full of laughter, love and fun! Have fun on your cruise… I will be praying for no hurricanes. =)
