I met little Amelija’s parents a few months ago for their maternity shoot. I was so excited when they decided to do a newborn shoot as well. Like most newborn shoots (and newborns!), this one was unpredictable. Of course when we wanted her sleeping she was wide awake. Fortunately, she is completely adorable sleeping and awake! It’s funny because any other shoot, you have to be awake (obviously) but their is something so precious and peaceful about a sleeping newborn baby. You’ll see at the end of this post. =)
At first Amelija was a little shy and completely content in her daddy’s arms.
But then she decided she was ready for her modeling debut…
She did pretty well for her first modeling job! =)
This is one of my favorite newborn photos I’ve taken. She was so cute… she had her face resting on the blanket and then decided to pop up her little head. Her expression is priceless!
So, so cute!
We headed up to Amelija’s nursery and she got to check out her crib for the first time…
