Home Sweet Almost Home #7 :: The Keys!!!

After a VERY long escrow, I’m excited to say I’m the owner of a very cool loft! I wanted to move in the day I got the keys but before I can really do anything I have to have the floors done. I’m hoping to have the floors done by the end of next week and be moved in within two weeks! We shall see if my timeline works out!

Me being me, I had to claim my territory and make the loft feel somewhat like a home even though I can’t move in yet. =) The logical thing to do is hang shower curtains and bring in two random chairs, right? Oh, and a dog bowl. Yep, that’s what I did. Check it out…

Right now, I’m going for the minimalist look in the living room. =)

Now that I have the loft I will be posting the decorating progress a little more frequently. I’m super excited to work with my interior design friend, Kelly Lafosse, to come up with some crazy, fun ideas to make the space unique and very me!
