From Above the Clouds

I love seeing the world from 30,000 feet above. It makes everything look so small and yet so beautiful! My first flight on my way to the Dominican Republic was a night flight. I slept most of the time but woke up around 2:30 AM. I looked out the window and thought the world was coming to an end! Have you ever seen lightning from above the clouds? It was a pretty awesome site. Once I figured out the world wasn’t ending, I grabbed my camera. It was one of the most beautiful sites I have ever seen and my camera really couldn’t capture it all. The moon was almost full, there were a million stars in the sky and the clouds were lighting up like crazy. Here is one still I was able to capture and a short video…
