I had so much fun blogging my Thailand and Cambodia trip that I decided I wanted to do the same for China. I love being able to share my trips and it’s a great way for me to journal so I remember all the adventures I’ve had!
This trip is sort of a reunion trip of the Thailand/ Cambodia trip. About two thirds of the group decided to head to Beijing for the week. Hannah and I left a day early and arrived Sunday morning… around 5:00 AM. We had a direct flight that left at 1:30 AM on Saturday. We both slept through most of the flight so when we arrived we were not completely exhausted. After we checked in we decided explore some.
Little sidenote… my awesome roommate Amber is posting all of this for me. I email her the images and texts and she is doing the rest. China has blocked Facebook, Twitter, WordPress and a few other websites. There are ways around it and I’m looking into it but for now, I’m super thankful for my awesome roommate. I’m not sure if I will be blogging as much as I usually do, but I’ll try. =)
There is a little cafe attached to our hotel/hostel (not sure what you would call it). I love this sign and I loved my “American” mocha! =)

Hannah getting ready to go to the market in our very white bathroom

Cherry blossoms are everywhere! So pretty!

Can you find us?

This market was insane! 6 floors of, “Lady, you want to buy…”. I bought some pearls for my mom and yes, they are real! =)

One of the signs for the place we are staying.
