As I was getting the photos ready for this blog, I realized there was no way I could fit them all in one post! Between the actual wedding day and the day after shoot, I couldn’t narrow it down enough to make one blog a reasonable size. So, for today… the wedding day!
Meredith and Zac decided to go with a destination wedding to beautiful McCall, Idaho. It was a perfect day… not too cold but tons of snow and their closest family and friends to celebrate. The wedding didn’t start until 7 PM so I had the day to explore the town with my friend and second shooter, Hannah. While we were having a crazy lunch of crepes, french toast and hash browns, the bride decided to spend her day snowboarding! To be honest, I was worried, but she made it back with all bones in tact!
I seriously love this couple. They are so adorable together and I will share more about them when I blog their day after shoot! For now, a small peek into their wedding day…
Love Meredith’s Vera Wang Gown!! Lace and buttons… you can’t go wrong!

The bride and groom almost ready!

The shoes!! I love that she wore Ugg ballet slippers. Perfect for a snowy wedding!

I kind of love this ring shot. =)

The sun set about 30 minutes before the ceremony. I love the beautiful twilight light through the stained glass.

The ceremony begins…

Meredith’s maid of honor was adorable. I seriously want to be her friend! She was so sweet throughout the entire day and was SO happy for Meredith and Zac.

During Communion for the guests, Meredith and Zac were talking and laughing. She later told me she was telling Zac how sore her legs were from snowboarding and how the kneeling and standing was getting tough. =)

A sweet kiss and hug to make it official…

The reception took place at the beautiful Shore Lodge, which is also were we got to stay! It was a simple reception with a delicious meal, a harp serenading and mingling with friends. A prefect way to end a long and exciting day!
Each table had a unique centerpiece. The wood stumps were all made by Zac’s dad.

The cake was made by Greg Marsh who appeared on The Ultimate Cake Off! It not only looked pretty… it tasted good too!!

Meredith’s flowers were simple and elegant. They looked so pretty in the sun at the day after shoot! Flowers were designed by Zee Catering.

The. best. maid of honor. speech. ever. I was crying, laughing and trying to shoot all at the same time!

I love the moment Hannah captured on the left. The one on the right, I love too. New love and old… it never stops growing!

Stay tuned for the day after shoot! Here is a sneak peek…
