Zac and Meredith :: McCall, Idaho Wedding Part Two

As promised, the day after shoot of Zac and Meredith. I LOVED this shoot! It was something totally different for this California girl. There was a ton of snow, a frozen lake, old barns and I even saw a fox. For those of you who live in snowy areas I know this is not big deal but I was in awe… slightly afraid to walk on the lake but loving every moment.

What made this shoot even more amazing was the couple… Zac and Meredith. I’ve said it before, but I really do get to work with the most amazing couples! They are so sweet with each other, it ridiculous. Zac is a true gentleman and so, so in love with his wife. Meredith is bubbly, outgoing and so into her new husband. They could not be more perfect for each other. Meredith grew up in Orange County, Zac in Idaho. They met when Meredith moved to Idaho for school. Her first job, in a new city, she meets Zac and their journey began. I’m so glad I could capture a part of their first full day as husband and wife. There was still the “we just got married” excitement without the stress of a wedding. It was all about them, every moment. Here are a few of my favorite moments…

We are standing on a lake, a frozen lake! Sorry, it’s the Cali girl in me… I can’t get over it. =)

It’s easy to get a good ring shot when you have snow covered mountains in the background!

Oh my, they are so cute!!!

Another lake story (i’m still stuck on the whole frozen lake thing). Zac and Meredith casually walk out on the lake when we get there. Hannah (my second shooter) and I both stop and look at them like they are crazy. They calmly say, “c’mon guys, it’s okay.” We were like little kids going for our first swim. I stomp on the ice to make sure it’s sturdy. Hannah and I look at each other knowing we will fall through and step on the lake gently, as if we were trying to sneak up on it. After a minute or so we realize we aren’t going to sink! It was a glorious moment. =)

I’m kind of sad I’m done blogging their wedding. There are so many more I want to share! They are such a sweet couple and they obviously had a pretty sweet location!

Zac and Meredith, thank you so much for inviting to be a part of your wedding day and the day after! I’m SO happy for you guys and I know you will have an amazing marriage with lots of adventures!
