Meet Casey and LeeAnne! They tied the knot on St. Patrick’s Day…

I met LeAnne at Jordan and Marissa’s wedding back in 2009. LeeAnne had told me she wanted me to shoot her St. Patrick’s Day wedding and I was so excited. I think the first thing I asked her is if they were going to have green beer! Of course… they did. =)
The wedding was held at the gorgeous Mission Inn in Riverside. If you haven’t been there, it’s worth a trip. It’s like a little piece of Europe in the center of Riverside.
I have a ton of photos to share so I will tell you more about their day as we go along…
LeeAnne’s dress was gorgeous and perfect for her!

I love this shoe shot. The stained glass window was at the end of the hall in the hotel. Seriously a gorgeous place!

Maid of honor, Sarah Beth, helped lace her into the dress! She looks stunning!

LeeAnne’s mom gave her her grandmother’s ring to wear for the wedding. Such a special moment!

I love that even though they had a St. Pat’s wedding, everything wasn’t green. I love the colors of her flowers with the accents of green! The florist did an amazing job. The flower shot on the right was me trying to be creative and funny at the same time. Sorry if I disrespected a saint, but I’m pretty sure he would think it was funny too! =)

Casey and LeeAnne decided to do a “first look” before the ceremony. I debated whether or not to post this one as it is slightly out of focus and LeeAnne doesn’t look very happy but I figure if I can explain what was going on it will be an appreciated shot! At this point LeeAnne and I were in the elevator on our way to meet Casey and my second shooter, Hannah. LeeAnne was excited, a little bit nervous and SO ready to see her future husband! It was such a sweet moment and is my second favorite to when they first saw each other.

I really do love when couples see each other before the ceremony. Instead of just being able to whisper something to each other if they waited until the ceremony, they get as long as the want to be together, share what they’re feeling and share their excitement. This was my favorite moment of the day.

Since they saw each other before the ceremony we had a lot of time to wander the Mission Inn and get some great shots. They were soooo cute, I rarely posed them and I’m pretty sure they forgot I was even there some of the time. What’s funny is that this one was posed… but the rest really were not! =)

I love these stairs! This was definitely one of the moments it was like I wasn’t there!

Ahhh, seriously! So cute!

When we finished up with their photos, we grabbed the wedding party. I’m not sure what to say about this group, except they had me laughing a lot! A lot of them are from LA and are actors so they definitely weren’t shy! We started with more formal group shots…

After spending a little more time with them and one of the bridesmaids (I think it was Marissa) suggesting this pose, I knew we were going to have fun!

I’m pretty sure I could have done an entire post on funny wedding party photos! They were such an awesome group!

I did shots with this group I rarely do (or have never done)… including the jumping shot!

The front of the chapel and inside. Absolutely gorgeous!

A peek into the ceremony…

The first dance…

LeeAnne’s dad wrote and recorded a song for their dance together. I had tears in my eyes. It was such a special moment.

The bouquet toss was a success!

Random side note for the photo on the right. Do you recognize them? That’s Jordan and Marissa, whose wedding I shot last year. First, they are completely adorable (sorry Jordan, I know you probably don’t want to be called adorable). Second, one day when I was home all day editing, I randomly had on the Game Show Network. I look up at the TV and saw them on the Newlywed Game. Unfortunately they didn’t win but they were SO funny!

Love the last two dance shots!

A few detail shots from my favorite second shooter, Hannah Hughes!
Flowerloft International did a gorgeous job on all of the flowers!

Loved the Irish cake! And again, the location was so pretty!

The green beer! LeeAnne and Casey, your wedding was so much fun and I’m so happy I could be there to capture it! I hope you are having a blast in Ireland!!
