When I first started on my photography journey my dogs, Sally and Roxy were my subjects… constantly. I have so many photos of my dogs, it’s kind of ridiculous. Thanks to them, I was able to learn a ton and document almost EVERY moment of their lives. Since I have been shooting more people lately my dogs haven’t been on the blog for awhile. Today I decided to get them new Halloween costumes, so of course I had to get a few shots of them!
Sally gets to be a witch this year. The first time I put clothes on her I noticed she calms down… it’s kind of strange. Since she is a very hyper dog, I found it to be a great solution to calm her down. The witch costume is not an exception! It’s kind of fun because she will just sit there while I take photos. I can move her and pose her almost any way I want. Roxy on the other hand was not so cooperative. She is a pumpkin and because of her recent weight gain, (due to eating WAY too much) the costume was just a tad small. It didn’t quite fit around her belly so I had to improvise. =)
