I cannot wait to shoot Adam and Nichole’s wedding this October! I had so much fun with them during their engagement shoot I can’t even imagine how fun the wedding will be. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much. They are such a fun couple!
Nichole has always loved the Colorado Street Bridge (which we later found out is also known as the suicide bridge… fun) and wanted to take her engagement photos on the bridge. I was so excited about this idea and really wanted to shoot at night because of the old looking light posts. I got even more excited when Nichole said they were going to wear vintage 40′s clothing.
We started off at Griffith Park for more casual shots and then headed to the bridge. They were such good sports waiting for 20 minutes or so below the bridge for the lights to come on. I’m pretty sure every other street light was on in the city of Pasadena except for the bridge. Eventually the lights were on and the bridge looked amazing… as did Adam and Nichole!
Here are a few of my favorites…
Love this moment

Loved the light

This was such a cool old building… it went perfectly with their look!

If the bus was from the 40′s I think this shot would have been perfect. =)

I love this one, Nichole is gorgeous!

And finally the lights are on!

So my mother sees this one and says, “did you write that on the bridge?” No! I did not graffiti the bridge… it was already there. Thanks to Adam for noticing it!

Thanks Nichole, now I have a favorite bridge too!
